You suspicions have some solid ground, I think [wink wink nudge nudge]. With many of the Mieradome characters I used some reference to help speed the process. With each I would change the features enough that I don't get sued. Having said that, only one character - who I will not name - was based upon a famous personality. But even if I told you which character that was, I would be stunned if you guessed who my model was. Anyway, how are you and Dara? I was thinking about you the other day as I was on the phone with another illustrator who lives out there in Ohio. I hope you're all doing well. Hi Ben! I don't know anything about the book, but is that a main character? Heroine? Obviously someone VERY special and wonderful.
